Privacy policy
We built this website to share as little of your data as possible. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and it does not load fonts, scripts or images from third parties — except the bot check described below, and only when you use the contact form.
Who is responsible

When you write to us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry or demo request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering messages). We keep this correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless it leads to a business relationship or we are required by law to keep it longer.
Bot protection
To keep automated spam out of the contact form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads only when you start using the contact form and checks technical information about your browser and connection (such as your IP address) to tell people from bots. It does not use cookies for tracking or build a profile of you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse). See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Visiting the website
When you open a page, your browser sends us technical data that every website receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s user agent. Our web server records this in log files to keep the site secure and working. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted automatically after 15 days.
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and caches pages for faster loading. For this, Cloudflare processes the same technical data on our behalf. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies; we set no cookies of our own.
Who else receives your data
- our hosting provider, with servers in Germany;
- Cloudflare, for website delivery, security and the bot check;
- our email service provider, which stores the messages you send us.
All of them process data only on our instructions. Some of these providers are based in the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, write to info@careless.at.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Slovenia this is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
